Fundamentals: This class focuses on the fundamental techniques, movements, and positions of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It gives you a solid foundation to start your BJJ journey. Geared towards beginners and anyone who wants to work on the basics. If you have no previous training experience, this is the best place to start.
Advanced: This class will be faster-paced with more difficult techniques. Roll with higher level training partners and get exposed to some of the more advanced positions. Not recommended for your first few training sessions.
Masters (40+): Masters BJJ is tailored for students aged 40 and up who want to train smart, stay active, and progress in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a pace that suits them. The focus is on technical efficiency, injury prevention, and longevity on the mats. Classes include detailed instruction, controlled drilling, and light to moderate sparring—perfect for those balancing training with work, family, and recovery.
Open Mat: This class has no formal instruction. The clock will be set to rounds and people can drill or roll with their partners at their own pace for the entire session.
Competition Class: This class uses the rule sets of upcoming competitions (e.g. International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, submission-only events, etc.). As different competitions come up we will switch between GI and NO GI. If you are unsure of what competitions are coming up, bring both. No techniques are taught during this class.
